The farm

Avenir Farm is located in the heart of Lexington's northern Fayette County. The farm consists of 50 acres of rolling hills of Kentucky's legendary bluegrass, a 15-stall barn and an oversized roundpen for starting the youngsters.

We are conveniently located 10 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, Rood & Riddle and Interstate 75.

The pasture sizes, natural shelter, lush forage and moderate weather allow us to keep our mares, foal and young horses out on grass 24-7, nearly 365 days a year to maximize their physical and mental development. All of the pastures feature heated automatic waterers.

The main barn is designed with young horses in mind. It is extremely well ventilated with full-mesh sliding stall doors and large, grill-covered windows in each stall. The foaling stall is an oversized 12x24 with a viewing window, remote camera and heat lamps for early foals.
