Our 2012 crop is strongly positioned for the jumper market and offers buyers some of the most proven competition blood of Europe. As always, we have included some exciting young Grand Prix stallions whom we are confident will make a strong contribution to American breeding. And for the first time, we've included pre-sale offerings from some of our most trusted breeding friends. So, explore and see what choices we have made. Pre-sale offerings provide buyers an opportunity to purchase their dream foal with a significant cost savings (sometimes as much as 1/3 off the purchase price once the foal is on the ground). And there is no risk. The buyer is guaranteed a healthy, sound, correct foal (see below for further details).

Fetal sexing shows that Select Dancer is carrying a colt. If the vet is incorrect, a filly will be retained for our program. However, we are offering a colt-only option for an in-utero purchase.

Pre-Purchase Price: $9,500
Foal Pre-Sale Pricing Policy:
A small deposit is required to hold the in-utero foal. The remainder of the balance is due with the successful completion of the Foal Wellness Exam at 18-24 hours post-foaling. If the foal should not pass the Wellness Exam, the deposit is either fully refunded or the purchaser can decide to apply it to another foal or horse offered for sale by Avenir Farm.
To give buyer's maximum flexiblity, if a different foal steals your heart, you may switch your in-utero contract to that of an on-the-ground foal if it is available for purchase. We want each buyer to have no regrets about their purchase.
Board, daily care and extensive handling and training is included in the in-utero price through the weaning of the foal (typically 4-5 months of age). Post-weaning boarding options are available.
