Welcome to Avenir farm

Avenir means future. We thought it a fitting name for our small breeding farm which we created with the single focus of breeding superior quality riding horses for the Olympic disciplines. Although we look to the future, our breeding program is predicated on a single idea:

 "A generation which ignores history has no past and no future."

To this end, we've assembled a small group of premium mares using the incontrovertable tenet of European breeding success: a strong motherline. While our mares represent the performance-proven sire lines of Europe and the United States, more importantly, they represent several generations of proven performers and producers through their dam lines. The direct result of these proven dam lines are consistent high quality foals.

By matching our mare base to some of today's most sought after sires including Cassini I, Cor de la Bryere, Nimmerdor, Heartbreaker, Coconut Grove, Alla'Czar, Balta'Czar, Calypso II, Goodtimes, Torino, Voltaire, Burggraaf, Rigoletto, Blue Hors Romanov, we strive to create foals with the highest level of athleticism, strong conformation to match a strong character and a high level of rideability.
